Whittier Cafe, Denver — photo from my visit
Stopped by Whittier Cafe and found it to be both cozy on the inside and with a bright, sunny patio on the outside.
The coffee was first rate, and I took home both a bag of their light roast and a bag of their espresso roast for home brewing. Both did a great job in my regular espresso/Americano workup. 5 out of 5 — would buy again.
A Little Background
The sign out front says Whittier Cafe was established in 2014 and that it’s Denver’s original woke cafe. I think that’s great, and I would definitely go there again.
I didn’t realize this was actually called the Whittier neighborhood, but it is — and it’s right near the Denver Zoo. I actually went after a visit to the zoo because my daughter and I needed some refreshments. So: recommended — head on over whenever.
